What Is SWAYAM ?
SWAYAM is an initiative of the Ministry Of Education(Government Of India) in which quality courses and lectures of class 9 to post graduate levels are provided in video, pdf, tests, discussion forum formats through online portal free of cost.
Objective Of SWAYAM ?
Objective of it is an attempt towards achieving the principles of the Education Policy that is – access, equity and quality. That is access to quality education and learnings to anyone who aspire for, wants to hone their skills through online courses which are free of cost.
What Does SWAYAM Provide ?
SWAYAM provides courses and lecture of engineering, design, health science, managements, humanities subjects and certificates on these courses, which is optional for students/learners.

2) Certificates :

How To Register For The Courses ?
- Step 1 : Go to the SWAYAM website https://swayam.gov.in/ and register/log in through your google account.
- Step 2 : Go to the category(discipline) of your interest and then within it, select the course you want to enroll yourself for.
- Step 3 : Here you will find that either the selected course in ongoing or upcoming. If ongoing, wait for its completion. If it is upcoming, you can join the course by clicking on join and filling up the required details.

Are SWAYAM Courses Available At Any Time ?
Self-paced courses, which can be found by using courses type in filter, are available at any time to join, while regular courses have spacified schedules mentioned next to the course. Upcoming courses can be joined and will start as per schedule. While ongoing courses can be joined only after its completion.
What Are The Cost Of SWAYAM Certificates ?
If anyone wants to earn certificate for the available course, one has to pay 1000 rupees to appear in the exam at mentioned centres conducted by SWAYAM and coordinators at the end of the course. Qualifying the exam makes one eligible for the certificate.
